Manufactured in NC Informational Breakfast
On Wednesday December 14 join BDI and other economic development professionals from the region for an informational breakfast about Manufactured in NC, a new program that provides a free webpage to local manufacturing companies looking to increase traffic on their existing website.
The breakfast will be held at the Foothills Higher Education Center, Room 123, from 8:15-9:15am. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to BDI, 828-439-4359, by Dec. 9.
Manufactured in NC is a new website (www.ManufacturedNC.com) to help market NC's small to medium-sized manufacturers; any North Carolina-based manufacturer is eligible to register with MNC for free. The site showcases the products, capabilities and innovations of North Carolina's manufacturers to potential customers around the nation and world.
The benefits of a website to market your business are substantial. Our goal with MNC is to basically put a lot of effort and marketing dollars into building one umbrella website that is found when people all over the world do Google searches for "thermoplastic containers" or "brass hardware fabricators" or "custom executive tables" – and do it on behalf of all those companies for FREE. The desired outcome is that we funnel otherwise missed opportunities down to companies across the state.
The bottom line is that a free web page is offered to each of the state's small to medium-sized manufacturers to increase visibility and provide an additional outlet to generate sales. The MNC website is not meant to replace your existing website, it is meant to drive additional traffic to it. Join us Wednesday, December 14, 8:15 – 9:15 @ Foothills Higher Education Center in Morganton (Exit 105 off of I40) to learn more about this FREE opportunity to promote your business.
