Burke Manufacturers Executive Council is an organization led by local industry representatives. The mission of BMEC is to serve local manufacturing companies by providing resources and networking opportunities in an effort to promote growth. Current co-chairs are Jen Nicholes from Sypris Technologies and Trent Toner from Toner Machining Technologies.

Executives, Presidents and Plant Managers from the manufacturing sector are invited to attend the quarterly meetings, during which they have the opportunity to network, brainstorm and share best practices. Programs center on various topics including:

Workforce development
Continuing education
Statewide initiatives
Human resource development
Grant and loan opportunities
