• Western Piedmont Community College is a member of the North Carolina Community College System. Each year approximately 4,000 students enroll to pursue degrees and more than 10,000 enroll in continuing education courses. WPCC works closely with new and existing industry on Workforce Development and Customized Training programs. Other community colleges within 25 miles include Catawba Valley Community College, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute and McDowell Technical Community College.
