In 2016 BDI embarked on a workforce marketing campaign to expose young people and their parents to the jobs available in Burke County. From August through November BDI met with over 260 students, parents, employers and millennials to compile information and data about:

  • current attitudes of students, parents and millennials toward manufacturing jobs
  • the communications channels most effective in reaching these audiences
  • key messages that will be best in changing their attitudes
