Brandon joined BDI in March 2026 and brings experience in industrial recruitment, product development, workforce training, collaborative partnerships, and managing large-scale economic development projects. In the years leading up to his role with BDI, Brandon was the economic developer for the City of Shelby, as well as Director of Cleveland County Economic Development Partnership. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western North Carolina University.

Hope is a Burke County native with more than 30 years of experience working in economic development. During her time at BDI, she has been engaged in many key areas of the organization such as product development, business development, and strategic marketing missions. She was part of the team that brought Seiren North America, Geiger International, and J.E. Ekornes to Burke County and continues to focus her efforts on attracting diverse manufacturing companies to our community.

Caleb joined BDI in 2024 after graduating from Appalachian State University, where he studied Marketing. During his time at BDI, he has leveraged his degree to assist with BDI’s comprehensive marketing strategies, as well as the development of creative and valuable programs that support Burke County’s existing manufacturers. As a native of Burke County and alumnus of Freedom High School, he is eager to give back to the community that helped shape him.
