BDI Hires Sara Chester as Project Manager

You might remember Sara from the Fall when she worked part-time as BDI’s Marketing Communications Manager. She has now been hired full-time to take over as Project Manager and will also continue her efforts on the Marketing Communications side. Sara grew up in Morganton and graduated from Freedom High School. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a B.A. from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She then spent several years working in and around the Charlotte area in sports marketing and in the nonprofit sector. She moved back to Burke County three years ago and is proud to call it home. She got married in September to her husband Josh and they live in Salem with their two dogs. She loves going to the lake, running, reading, hiking and camping!
