2015 Mission Transition Job Fair Scheduled for June 25
BURKE COUNTY, N.C. (April 21, 2015) – Burke Development, Inc., in partnership with various local agencies, has scheduled the 2015 Mission Transition Job Fair for Thursday, June 25, from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Foothills Higher Education Center. The event is free and open to the public and no registration is required. It will be held rain or shine. The job fair is sponsored by Leviton, Aaron’s, McDonald’s, Western Piedmont Council of Governments and Catawba Valley Staffing. Registration is also free for employers. There are several slots open for additional businesses. Those interested in attending to look for candidates should contact Hope Hopkins at Burke Development, Inc. by emailing hope@burkedevinc.com. The list of employers currently attending includes: Aaron’s, AccuForce, Bayada Home Health Care, BH Media/Morganton News Herald, Burke Career Center, Carolinas Healthcare System, CoMack Enterprises, Fiserv, Geiger, Kellex Seating, Ice River Springs, Labor Connections, Leviton, McDonald’s, NC Department of Public Safety, Onin Staffing, PEDs Legwear, Ultra Force Staffing Services, Valdese Weavers and Vanguard Furniture. The Foothills Higher Education Center is located at 2128 South Sterling Street across from Fatz Café. Parking will be available at FHEC.
